If you want to post some sample code I could perhaps be of more help.
Are you able to get the Xfire echo service to work (the example that
ships with Xfire)?

thanks anyway. as i wrote, i would be glad if the params would work in
the body, passing in the header was only for testing purposes. i'm still
stuck. :-/
