It seems like you got what you wanted elsewhere but just for everyone else's benefit. To get the most current source code you would do:
svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xmlbeans/trunk/ If you specifically want the code as of 2.1.0 then you should svn update to revision 330131 (this revision number is in the manifest.mf file of xbean.jar if you get the download).
