how to allocate memory to zookeeper?

hi,all:
           i have a big question,the swap will downgrade zookeeper's
performance,so how can i monitor the zookeeper memory use?i checked the
mntr command output ,not metric about memory use. and one more question is
how can i tune the memory of zookeeper processor?
