why watch count is different when use mntr and wchs command?

    when i use mntr i get watchcount ,but it is different with i get from
wchs ,why?

# echo 'mntr' | nc 192.168.26.231 2181
zk_watch_count  41

# echo 'wchs' | nc 192.168.26.231 2181
