Hello fellow ZooKeepers, We have now had three separate production incidents where one of the root causes was flaky DNS causes the ZooKeeper C client library to completely crash.
This has been a known bug since at least 2011, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-1029 I'm having trouble defending to my colleagues how ZooKeeper, which is so integral to building reliable software, can have such a serious issue go unanswered for 4 years. What needs to be done to get this issue some developer love? Thanks, Steven
