The ZooKeeper codebase does not customize the JLine key bindings, so you won't find anything related to this in the ZooKeeper configuration files. Instead, ZooKeeper uses the default key bindings, shown in the URL from my last reply. That includes the mapping of CTL-D to EXIT.
