Hi, I have a very simple setup (borrowed from Solr Ref Guide "Setting Up a Zookeeper Ensemble). For zoo.cfg, I have:
*tickTime=2000 initLimit=10 syncLimit=5 dataDir=/opt/zooDeployTest/zookeeper/zooDat server.1=localhost:2190:2195 server.2=localhost:2191:2196* when I execute ./bin/zkServer.sh start zoo.cfg, it says zookeeper has started, but it really hasn't (zkServer.sh status shows its not running).
