I've only taken a quick look but this post is making a lot of claims. In particular, "To the best of our knowledge, FencedLock is the first open source distributed lock implementation that is tested with such a comprehensive approach" is a bold claim. I know that ZooKeeper passed all the Jepsen tests years ago. I'll try to review the blog when I get chance to see exactly what's unique in their claim. Maybe Flavio or someone else here could also review. -Jordan
