Hi Vlad,

I have already met the following problem and I solved it by using of "update" instead is using of "install".

Example says more:

I want to update to my latest build of samba. A have created it in the repo (gmake publist PKG_REPO=file:///) ...or I can create archive using pkgrecv -a transfer...

...first I should know the "long" version info:

 $ pkg list -g file:///var/repo.i386/ -afv samba
FMRI IFO pkg://userland/service/network/[email protected],5.11-0.174.0.0.0.0.497:20110829T143920Z --- pkg://userland/service/network/[email protected],5.11-0.174.0.0.0.0.497:20110829T133148Z ---

...than I can update to exact version:

pkg update -g file:///var/repo.i386/ [email protected],5.11-0.174.0.0.0.0.497:20110829T143920Z

...only the problem is I can not "downgrade" by this way.

I hope it will help a bit.

Hi,

I'm trying to install pkg://userland/image/imagemagick and it ends up
with error:

   Reject:
pkg://userland/image/[email protected],5.11-0.173.0.0.0.0.484:20110829T140531Z
Reason: This version is excluded by installed incorporation
pkg://solaris/consolidation/userland/[email protected],5.11-0.172:20110815T080358Z

Any idea what might be wrong? My publishers:

PUBLISHER TYPE STATUS URI
userland origin online
http://denton.us.oracle.com:4444/
solaris (non-sticky) origin online
http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/solaris11/dev/
extra (non-sticky) origin online
http://ipkg.us.oracle.com/extra/

I haven't been following userland closely (lately) so maybe the
procedure to test packages changed?

Thank you
