Can't uninstall "incorporation" since pkg;//solaris/entire depends upon it.
pkg image-update finds no updates are available so I can't move from
b173 to b175

This is on a b173 sparc system.
The userland incorporation locks your userland packages to build 173 (as
the error suggests).
You either update your system to 175 or remove the userland
incorporation. This should be no problem for testing, you can install it
again later (after reverting gcc to 173 again, of course).
But even without a re-installing userland incorporation you should be
fine.
