Dear Wei Zhou & CloudStack Community, Greetings.
I am Rajiv Jain from the NetApp Engineering team. We are currently working towards delivering the NetApp Primary Storage plugin as part of the CloudStack *4.23* release. As part of this effort, we raised our *first pull request in February 2026*, focusing on *storage-pool provisioning use cases*. This PR forms the foundational layer for our integration. We are now ready with the *second set of enhancements*, covering *CloudStack volume provisioning use cases*, which are planned to be submitted as a follow-on PR. However, the second PR is technically dependent on the first one, and can be raised only after the initial PR is merged. Given the release timelines that were shared for CloudStack 4.23, we kindly seek the community’s support to *expedite the review and merge process* for the existing PR, if possible. This would allow us to submit the subsequent PR in a timely manner and ensure that both sets of use cases can be included without missing the intended deadlines. We greatly appreciate the reviewers’ time and effort, and we are fully available to: - Address feedback promptly - Provide clarifications or design walkthroughs - Make any required refinements to facilitate the merge Thank you for your continued collaboration and support. We look forward to your guidance on how best we can align with the review process and timelines. Warm regards, *Rajiv Jain* Senior Engineer – CloudStack / Virtualization NetApp On Wed, Apr 8, 2026 at 1:14 AM Wei ZHOU <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi all, > > Due to several factors - such as the number of ongoing improvements and new > features, the significant QA effort required, and pending security issues - > we have decided to adjust the timeline.
