I'm not familiar enough with Java servlets (or even Java) to know if the possible answers to this are cocoon specific or not.
When updating an xml file (or maybe a database table) from the CForms binding framework, what techinal options are available to ensure that only one user can view the data with a view to updating it (whilst still alowing other users to view the data in a read-only manner, outside of the CForms framework)? Ideally, I would hope to see an option on the generator, but I see no traces of such. There is also the question of how to release the lock if the CForms users goes away, and the session times out.
