Yes, it is a ThreadSafe component.
Perhaps this behaviour is only apparent on Jetty? I intend to run it under
Tomcat 5.5.
Quartz seems to run at startup using Jetty... so it must be possible. Maybe
I have to make the component Runnable or Serviceable? I will experiment.
