I do think improving the documentation would help tremendously with the general public perception of the quality/maturity of the Cocoon framework (which I personally like a lot, but it can be hard to convince others). Are there things the community can do to help out?
As David already pointed out the first step is to register in Daisy and play around to see how everything is structured. Then you are invited to make any small corrections you feel they are appropriate. All changes must be approved by committers anyway so don't be worried too much about changing the documentation.
When it comes to some more planned and serious actions I think we'll need to establish some TODO list and general tips for documentation contributors. I can take care of preparing a plan but this will take me a few days as I'm busy now with updating my system to openSUSE 11.0 release[1]. The process didn't go 100% smooth and I need to figure out how to solve a few problems, unfortunately.
Anyway I'll try to prepare the document next week. http://news.opensuse.org/2008/06/19/announcing-opensuse-110-gm/ -- Grzegorz Kossakowski --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
