Downloaded Karaf 4.0.2, executed bin/karaf as per website instructions
, no Gogo shell. I rather not go dig deeper holes. My goal is getting
websockets running on a ARMv7 environment.

You could use Karaf, if you don’t mind wrapping Felix.
Or just look at Karaf’s Jetty feature descriptor to see what bundles
they use.
