gzip file contents request

I have maven installed to check the project out of cvs. I am using 
CVSNT. When I run the site goal I get the following message for the 
changelog goal

    [echo] Generating the changelog report
Server is not supporting gzip-file-contents request
ChangeLog found: 0 entries
Is there a problem here?
