No, it wouldn't. It would just mean that a myfaces-commons jarfile would need to be deployed along with whatever jarfile contains the charting components. This new myfaces-commons jarfile will be part of the next release, and will have to be deployed together with the tomahawk.jar file when running tomahawk on the RI. It will also be needed when using myfaces-impl.jar.

No.  I meant making use of myfaces-commons and existing TLD entities,
etc.  Just so we're not solving the same problems differently between
components.
