First of all, if we manage to fix this, you will have to use the
tomahawk datatable (t:datatable) and not the JSF default one (h:datatable).

It looks like JSF 1.2 fix this missing caption and this is where this
patch was meant to go. Though, maybe we can backport it to the tomahawk
datatable.

you can use the svn external
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/myfaces/current to get all whats needed
to build the stuff with mvn.
