i think thats the point. In html firefox understands everything.
i've you interested in, try to force XHTML with following line at top of
your pages. and nothing will work anymore ;-).
<jsp:directive.page contentType="text/xml; charset=ISO-8859-1"/>
firefox starts to check the xml for wellformness. if your're lucky the
page will be displayed, but will not work.

by viewing the side-information. is it following the standard or is it
