I understand that. I don't want the text to be updated, and it isn't. The rendering is exactly what I expected. It is how the rendering is being delivered that behavior seems "wrong" because it appears to be a full page refresh. I don't see a point to using PPR if the whole page gets refreshed for every action, so I assume that this isn't the way it is supposed to behave.
