Btw, that's what I have named the console already and it is natural for me to continue to type python with just a leading i.... Give it a try, I think you may like it..
I'm almost positive that this was stated earlier, but ipython is probably the worst possible choice. IPython <http:// ipython.scipy.org>, an existing and popular Python project, already has a script of the same name (in lower case). To top that, it is also an interactive interpreter.
