Hi,
we have tested ActiveMQ 4.0.2 for a long time on a network without firewall
between clients and broker. Switching to DMZ with firewalls we stumbled
across problems with activemq connections. It appears that whenever firewall
closes connection, activemq doesn't, which eventually leads to
OutOfMemoryError (not every time). We've set Java's max memory to 512MB and
every 1hour we get activemq to freeze, ie. it works but doesn't send any
message neither clients can connect to it. All we can do is to restart it.
We have increased memory limits however I'm not sure if that helps.
Has anyone successfully managed to setup activemq broker inside DMZ with
firewalls between clients and broker ?
