I've been trying to use ActiveMq to reliable send messages > 1mb.
I've tried several versions and persistence backends without
success.
Has anyone some real experience of a working setup?

leaked memory too much. after many small messages.
I think activemq-v4/derby setup had similar problems as mysql
backend.
