I think we are running into this issue. With an embedded broker, I have a single consumer on a queue that fails to retrieve messages 100% of the time. Sometimes it finds no messages and I am watching the Queue via JMX: there are messages in the queue. Then it will find a message once and a while. Could this be the same issue?
