I had the chat app up and running quite some time ago (circa AMQ 5.2). I seem to remember that when running everything on a single system (including browser clients) I had to run one browser client in IE, and another in FF, etc. Not sure if this still applies, my memory is sketchy on what we did last year. Worth a try.
