Can you snoop/wireshark this please and show us the packets? The picture I have is of a producer putting a message (let's call it message 1) on a Topic Destination without error. So far so good. Then (later in time) a consumer subscribes to that Destination via Stomp. I don't expect the consumer to receive message 1. Apart from the error message, why does the consumer expect to receive message 1?
