ActiveMQ-CPP pausing asynchronous reception

Hi,

Is it possible to tell ActiveMQ to stop delivering messages to an
asynchronous consumer temporarily (if the consumer is unable to
process messages, say).

[This is a consumer that uses the MessageConsumer.setMessageListener()
method.]
