One thing I notice is that when I remove the username & password in glassfish in the resource adapter config it automatically puts in "defaultUser" & "defaultPassword". When my other test works it uses null values but it doesn't seem that glassfish likes that. I don't know if that's a problem...this is a local dev environment so I am not using a username or password.
