Hi,

- ActiveMQ 5.16.x supports Java 11+ (including Java 17) at runtime (not the build itself) - ActiveMQ 5.17.x (currently the main branch) support Java 11+ at runtime and build time

Good point about Java version. I will update the website with this information (and also Spring version).

About 5.16.4, I'm on it, it should be on vote by the end of the week/beginning of next week.

Regards
JB

Is there an ETA for 5.16.4?

Regarding 5.17, I could not find any information. Could someone please tell me
what will change from 5.16 and when we can expect 5.17 to be released?

Finally, the new Java LTS has been released (Java 17 in September 2021) and
Fedora 36 will replace Java 11 by Java 17.

Is ActiveMQ 5.16 supported on Java 17?

Maybe a table in the official documentation listing which Java versions
(min/max) are supported by which ActiveMQ 5.x version would be useful to have?

Cheers,

Lionel
