Currently it seems aox doesn't do any useful logging of user connections.
I'd really appreciate if IMAP/POP/SMTP Submit connections were logged with
the user's IP as well as whether it was successful or not. When I enable
INFO logging this is as verbose as I'm getting:
Aug 31 09:00:48 mwi1 Archiveopteryx: 56194/2/11/1 . NO LOGIN failed for
"[email protected]"
That won't help me if I wanted to setup something like fail2ban to
blacklist anyone who tries to brute force user accounts because I have no
idea which IP the offender was using.
If there's currently a way to log this info without having to turn on
debug logging please let me know.
