I also don't think break die will be useful because aoximport never dies; it just hangs indefinitely and I have to kill it...
The log message you see is always tied to either 'catch trow' or 'break die'. In this case I suspect throw, but when brute force involves only twice as much work as cleverness, I'm all for brute force.
