Importing a structure is easy, although you may need to write a three-line shell script. Synchronizing is basically not something aoximport does. Imapsync can sync, does that help?

Hi Arnt, thanks for replying

yes it does. A 3 line script which needs to do what ? I've tried importing with this command :

bin/aoximport -vv /users/gp/INBOX /home/george/Maildir/

and after INBOX was imported I got this error :

Archiveopteryx: Internal error: Mailbox /users/gp/INBOX/.Archives.2014 is not properly known

which means, as I understand at least, that it cannot find the folder (with subfolder) Archives/2014 in the database. The script needs to copy the directory structure first and then import messages ?
Do you have any example ?

thanks in advance
