Hi,

I’ve been receiving a “Literal too big” on a imapsync job moving emails from
Dovecot to Aox. Looking at ImapParser::literalSizeLimit(), I see that the
9.6mb limit is computed with:
 150000 * Configuration::scalar( Configuration::MemoryLimit )
where MemoryLimit is 64 (bits?). I don’t understand why this limit is in
there, and also why is it kicking in now as I’ve manipulated bigger than 9.6mb
emails in the past either through smtp delivery or an email client move (eg mac
Mail.app)… I do remember something about a ‘Literal too big’ discussion in the
past, but I can’t find it in the distribution list.

And is the solution as simple as replacing 150K by a bigger number?

  Regards,
        Hugo DesRosiers
