Does anyone have an example POM for building an app with Shade? I am trying to shade some of the Guava libraries to avoid issues with a conflicting version on our Hadoop cluster.
When I look at the Uber jar it builds it looks like all of the class files (including the properly shaded ones as well) are there and the jar files in lib/ as well, my expectation was that there really wouldn’t be any jars in the uber jar. I do still have the maven-assembly running on package phase because I am not exactly sure how to handle the assembly just in shade.. I’m sure there is some base concept I’m missing here, anyone have experience doing this?
