I'm in the process but I've had to put off the integration for a couple 
of days. From what I've looked at so far it's as straight forward as 
anything is when dealing with acegi. (Meaning the first look is daunting 
-- it seems like about a million things to consider -- but so far I've 
found their architecture makes things delightfully easy to actually 
configure).

You can get a proof of concept quite quickly just following the guide in 
the acegi pdf. Plug some real user names into the in-memory dao and 
you've got cross application login in about 15 minutes.

The biggest hurdle I'm thinking there'll be is where do users change 
their credentials.

I know this isn't much help from a technical point of view so I guess 
it's meant more as encouragement than anything else.
