Hi,
I am using appfuse 1.7 wiht hibernate 2. I am
trying to use clob in one of my tables.
I added these in applicationContext-hibernate.xml
under sessionFactory bean.

<bean
class="org.springframework.jdbc.support.lob.OracleLobHandler">
<property name="nativeJdbcExtractor">
<bean
class="org.springframework.jdbc.support.nativejdbc.SimpleNativeJdbcExtractor"/>

While this application works fine on my windows
machine on tomcat 5.0.28, it is throwing following
errors when I try to deploy on the server.

constructor threw exception; nested exception is
org.springframework.dao.InvalidDataAccessApiUsageException:
Couldn't initialize OracleLobHandler because Oracle
driver classes are not available; nested exception is
java.lang.NoSuchFieldException: DURATION_SESSION
java.lang.NoSuchFieldException: DURATION_SESSION
at java.lang.Class.getField(Class.java:919)
at
org.springframework.jdbc.support.lob.OracleLobHandler.<init>(OracleLobHandler.java:121)
at
sun.reflect.NativeConstructorAccessorImpl.newInstance0(Native
Method).............
I checked tomcat libraties and everything is exacly
same on the server. I was using classes12.jar but I
changed it to ojdbc14.jar, but to no use.
Could someone tell me what I might be missing to get
rid of this error.
