What version of appfuse-service are you using? We mistakenly packaged a
log4j.xml in the JAR at one point.

First of all I am not running the standard archetype Appfuse 2 setup, I
have
created my project and simply depend on the Appfuse -data/service/war
modules.
NOw my problem is with the commonslog, I just can't get any debug
information, no matter what I do nothing gets logged when the log
statments
are in my own code. This is only a problem with tomcat not jetty. I am not
sure why there are 2 log4j.xml files and one log4j.properties in my
system
but no matter what modifications I make to these files nothing changes. I
have even tried to delete the xml files and only have the log4j.properties
file but not even the File appender I created works(it does not create the
file).
Does anyone have a similar experience or any good ideas ...It somehow
seems
as if there is some hidden configuration that is applied to log4j and it
ignores whatever I do.
