I think Matt meant "blob" rather than "blog" ;) Another way to do it is
to use file upload to save the image to the filesystem and then save the
path to the database. But I think the reason you didn't get a response
earlier [at least from me] is that it sounds like you are asking how to
force the capture of an image during registration. Which sounds like an
impossible task unless a requirement of your app is to have a camera in
a fixed location and then you would need to trigger the camera somehow...
Anyway, saving the picture would be the easy part in that scenario.
