Excellent suggestions Jon - I'll try to make these changes this weekend.

Hi,

Just some suggestions in facilitating the first wobbly steps of a
prospective user of AppFuse v2.

I suggest amending page
http://appfuse.org/display/APF/AppFuse+QuickStart for AppFuse 2 such
that section 'Run your application' includes:

0. cd to application directory

or the equivalent, otherwise, running 'mvn integration-test' will not
pick up the pom file run in step 1! This is not evident for anyone who
is not familiar with Maven. Maven is scary enough as it is.

I also suggest specifying the username/password of users 'admin' and a
normal user. This is not evident for anyone who is not familiar previous
versions of AppFuse.

The more streamlined the first steps an inquisitive user takes, the
better. The user might put aside 30 minutes for evaluation and the
further they get the better. If within 30 minutes they grasp the
existing layers, the suite of ant tasks, the existing test harness, use
of Spring etc, they can't turn back! This framework is so good that it
is a pity if a prospective user puts it aside due to petty matters.

My 2 pence.
Jon
