AFAIK, Struts does not support the feature you're looking for. It expects
there to only be one form on a page when it generates the JavaScript. You
might have better luck asking this question on the Struts mailing list (I'd
suggest using nabble.com), but I don't think it's possible.

 Thanks Matt,

Each of the jsp's has its own <html:form> tag. The one jsp is importing
the second one. When a submit happens on the second one, it looks like only
the "parent" gets validated?

jsp

As far as I know, this should be possible. Struts doesn't really care how
you structure your form, it's more about what the request and its
parameters look like when you submit the form. If you have two <html:form>
tags in the same page, I don't believe Struts supports validating both of
those - unless you're submitting to two different actions.

Is it possible to perform client-side Struts validation on a form
represented with a jsp imported by another jsp ? If you have formA , jspA
and formB jspB with jspA using a <c:import for jspB. One of the proterties
of fomB has struts validation tag – how can I perform validation on this
When submitting B.
