Thanks for the reply. My experience with this setting has been limited to adding or removing the readOnly flag; if you've done this before can you be more specific?
Would I use something like PROPAGATION_NESTED or PROPAGATION_REQUIRES_NEW? Will I still have access to a Spring session, just with no transaction started? If you can point me to a code sample that would be fabulous.
