Hi, I tried doing as you asked but with no success.
Possibly the problem is that I am working on a windows system. So my maven install is on C:\tools\maven-2.0.5 and the settings are under C:\Documents and Settings\bondn\.m2 So under the maven bit we have a conf directory which has settings.xml, I have updated that. Today I also put a copy under the .m2 directory. Anyway if you could offer advise in this context that would be great. If there are a couple of progressive tests I could run to prove the various steps that would also be very good.
