I don't know if I'd use this tutorial with the latest version of Acegi. I believe the wrote a new way of doing ACLs.
http://acegisecurity.org/docbook/acegi.html#after-invocation-acl-aware Personally, I haven't implemented ACLs in a product application (only in sample applications), so I can't really comment on which system is better. Matt On 4/10/07, nmall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, I am looking at http://raibledesigns.com/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=AppFuseAcegiACLAddModelsAndHibernate http://raibledesigns.com/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=AppFuseAcegiACLAddModelsAndHibernate and realize this is for Appfuse 1.x. Now, does 2.0 M4 have all this integrated into a jar file, since the tutorials for 2.x are not complete and the 1.x tutorial mentions applicationContext-hibernate.xml which is in a jar file in 2.x. I would like to know which of this is already available in 2.x or do we have to perform all the steps outlined in these Security tutorials to add ACLs etc. Thanks for your help!
