If disabling JavaScript causes only one request to go through, then the two-request issues is probably caused by some sort of onclick/onsubmit event on a form element.
However, the page still "times out" - i.e. the page goes blank after about 30 seconds (while the parsing is still active) but is not forwarded to the success page.
Maybe the request is so large that Jetty is trying to "chunk" the data? I'm not sure. Can you reproduce this behavior on Tomcat? Matt
