It's a RHE 4 box. I've got tomcat running properly on 8080, and I've opened the firewall to 8080 using an iptables command. This is a short term solution and the firewall blocks 8080 again if I restart the box.
Can anyone advise on the correct way of opening port 8080 long term? I'll eventually get Apache httpd to forward requests using mod_jk.
