1.9.4 required an SMTP Server as well, so if you were able to develop
AppFuse there w/o an SMTP server, you shouldn't need one for 2.0. I
don't believe it's required actually - in that no tests actually fail.
However, there is an open issue for the password hint that it should
fail, so that might change in the future.

In the meantime, try "sudo postfix start" in your Terminal window
(iTerm rocks on OS X).
