I commented out the GZipFilter in web.xml like you said, and now I do see the page.
BUT, I do not see any webservices UNLESS i have a WEB-INF/applicationContext-webservice.xml. I did not have to add an entry in this file with M5, just using annotations exposed the manager as webservices. Is this the way it should be? Do we now require the applicationContext-webservice.xml?
