Maven builds and creates the war file.
the war file is deployed into tomcat using the plugin.
thank you i understood fully, and the other thing in my mind is: inside the
directory of the created appfuse project we have:

.setting dir
Src dir
target dir
pom.xml ----->what is this file ?
Readme.txt
Velocity----->what is this file ?

and what is the difference between src and target folders ?
