You should be able to open a file based on the relative path on all servers. I'm guessing there is some other difference on the XP server causing that to not work. I'd start by trying to access the image directly in your web browser.

The server will save the file path to database. Then the JSP will retrieve this file path for displaying image on page. But one web server (Windows XP) can only display image with absolute file path like D:\Programs\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\webapps\myweb\resources\tomcat\photo.gif Another web server (Windows Vista Home Premium) only likes relative path. If I mannually change it in database table to resources/tomcat/relation.gif Then the picture is showed! Can you help give some ideas? -Bruce View this message in context: File Upload behavior not consistent on different web server Sent from the AppFuse - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
