I would suggest that you make sure you want to go the icefaces route before you take the dive. Since it is a totally different DOM view that the other frameworks it is kind of an all or nothing. It is hard to combine other component libraries that don't mess with the dom into it especially those that support AJAX or PPR. It is possible to run them side by side but make sure you understand the implications before you dive in.

There's also an open issue in ICEfaces JIRA for AppFuse integration.
